Oh god, I've only read 33, but that doesn't count the handful of Shakespeares that I've read. Better get working.
I'm only a couple behind you. I better go crack a book open. I'm going to have to check out your favorites too.
I've only read 28! Plus quite a few of Shakespeare's plays. I also own a few more that I've not read yet. :) By next year the number will be far higher. :)
I think this list is bogus. Why are The Chronicles of Narnia treated as one book when it is seven distinct books? And how did The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe get a separate entry? Likewise, how did The Complete Works of Shakespeare get one entry, and Hamlet another? The latest real BBC list that I can find on their website is dated in 2004, and ranks the Harry Potter books separately. The ones that were available in 2004, anyway. Whoever invented this list does not know either literature or math.
Ive read 4. For school. :/ I feel dumb now.
Yes, and why is The DaVinci Code included?
I've read 59, but i'm an English Degree student so thats my excuse :P Why is Da Vinci Code on there? Ben Jonson's plays should be on there instead.
This list is odd. Some selections are brilliant eg A Delicate Balance and others awful eg DaVinci Code
