BOO!

Five Little Pumpkins

Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate

The first one said "Oh my, it's getting late!"

The second one said "There are witches in the air",

The third one said "But we don't care",

The fourth one said "Let's run and run and run",

The fifth one said "I'm ready for some fun!"

OOOOOOH went the wind

And out went the light,

And the five little pumpkins rolled out of sight!

Have fun this week--remember, not too much candy! (this song was brought to you compliments of my childhood :)

*This is a long time coming but I wanted to send a special "thank you" Bonnie's way for the beautiful gift that will remind me of her thoughtfulness for years to come!

((sigh)) my kids left the house earlier, dressed as a vampire and a vampire's victim, on their way to their school's fall festival, where they will be part of the haunted house.

They never grow out of Halloween.

Halloween is one of the holidays I miss the most as it's not celebrated in grand fashion here in Australia like it is in the USA. Can you believe the local grocery store only has an end-cap as their Halloween display? Incredible!

I think the part of Halloween I like the best is that it's the one day a year where it is totally 100% acceptable to put on a different facade - to be someone else. I suppose it's rather weird, but I like that idea.

Not to mention, one of my favorite things to do is make costumes. Come to think of it, perhaps I should add costume making to my list of things to do and find a theatre group?

Have a great weekend.

You have a good memory. :) I bought play-doh at Costco to give out to the trick or treaters -- to remove all temptation.

Awww, thanks Manuela. I'm sorry I haven't visited in awhile. Work has been hectic. I have been working almost 15 hours a day and I am beat most of the time. I love the Halloween pic too, it's awesome :)

Halloween isn't celebrated in South Africa, so I find the whole concept quite bemusing... Happy Halloween!

Cute. Trick or treating is a big deal in my neighbor. I just sit out on the porch and watch the parade.
