A Girl Can Change Her Mind!

I know, I know. Yesterday's post was all "I don't want to talk about numbers anymore", blah, blah, blah. Well, I didn't realize when I posted my 1 lb. loss for last week (oops, there's a number) that I had reached 25 lbs. gone (whoa, that's two!)

So, there's a blue ribbon to celebrate because I'm 2/3 of the way there. I'm actually adding 3 lbs. to my goal weight because that was the number I set with my leader at WW six years ago. I've got my lifetime badge--just needing to wipe the dust off of it!

Thanks ladies--for the positive comments and for reading!

First, congratulations on hitting 25 pounds. You should feel incredibly proud of yourself, my friend! I'm sure proud of you!

I'm behind on my reading, so I just now read your prior post... you know, I made the conscious decision when I started my blog that I did NOT want to make it only about weight loss. I am SO much more than just a number on the scale!

And so are you. I don’t read your blog to see how much weight you've lost or how many miles you've logged. I read it because I'm interested in ALL aspects of your life! I hope you'll share with us your back-to-school adventures, your gardening - and your good health victories.

Cheers to you!

YAY RIBBONS.
and, since you opened the door :), I saw your comment yesterday and IMO more protein (and not lessening other calories) helps a lot with snacksugarcravings and adding muscle!

Live it up! You go girl! And no matter if you chose one day to share your weight loss journey with us or not, it's up to you and no one to judge. I say post the positives for sure - they're motivating for all.

CONGRATULATIONS!!! That's a lot of weight lost!

Your flowers are very pretty, too! I like to read about other things, but I also like to read about "the numbers". Your blog has a nice mix.

It's that evil scale, I tell you. It stalks us and looks for opportunities to make us eat non-caloric words. :)

Congrats on the loss and on the milestone! Awesome!

25lb GONE..FOREEEEVEEER!!

I am so THRILLED for you!!

RE-Comment
Tofu has to be flavoured with something but Quorn I feel once cooked is nice just as it is.

I double checked on the Quorn and it is a myrocprotien, something to do with the Fungi family.

Is Buttermilk a yogurt? To be honest I don't really know because I have never tried it as is, but I know it is in the yogurt aisle at the Supermarket. It is used in baking and desserts, I have to say, the Buttermilk Dessert was very creamy.

I too like new food finds but alas I have never been any where to discover much.

Anyway, WELL DONE AGAIN!!

HUGS to you xx
