Just a Quickie

I haven't the time for a lengthy post today. I have lots to do and want to get it done before the heat is too high. I'll be posting a wrap-up of the month of July on Friday and compare it to June. I'm down another pound which is good, bringing me closer to that happy goal in the sky but, unless something weird happens by Friday, my loss for this month is only half of what I lost in June. It will be interesting to compare and see what might have changed to cause that.

All in all, it was a good month and I'm hoping that the dog days of summer will be better as I get ready to return to school this fall.

One pound closer! It gets slower the closer to goal weight you are, doesn't it?
I went out this morning to get things done as well. The humidity was quite high already.
I'm excited for you heading back to school!

You're doing so well on your weight loss and don't worry if you didn't lose as much this month as last month...weight always seems easy to lose the first few weeks but then it gets a bit harder. Don't lose hope, you'll get to your goal:-) xoxo

Congrats on the loss! I know last month you kicked booty on activity. Were you doing as much through July? I didn't have quite the same amount of minutes of cardio this month.

I read on Nan's blog that you're going back for your teaching degree. I did that too - at age
42. (I'd started originally when I first got out of high school.) I've been out of college now 5 years and still can't find anything but sub jobs. I hope things are different in Canada - because here in NY there's a real age bias against older teachers...

The more that you lose weight, the harder it is to keep losing weight at the same pace, since your calorie needs get lower every month, you have to cut a lot more in order to maintain the same losses!

It is not about how fast you lose it, it is about keeping it off and staying healthy!!
